Role Summary
The Exterior Field Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing installation crews for roofing, siding, windows, gutters, and other exterior projects. This role ensures projects are completed on time, meet quality standards, and that all stakeholders—customers, team members, and leadership—are kept informed throughout the process. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership, time management, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage installation crews to ensure efficient and high-quality workmanship.
- Coordinate and schedule jobs, ensuring timelines are met and adjustments are made as needed.
- Conduct site inspections to verify quality, adherence to safety regulations, and job progress.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between crews, customers, and company leadership.
- Address any issues or obstacles on-site, providing proactive solutions to keep projects on track.
- Maintain clear and timely communication with customers, keeping them informed of project progress.
- Ensure job sites remain clean, organized, and in compliance with safety protocols.
- Document and report job progress, challenges, and completion details to leadership.
- Train and mentor crew members to uphold company standards and improve efficiency.
Requirements & Qualifications

- 3+ years Experience in exterior construction, including roofing, siding, windows, and gutters.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with hand and power tools and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and design plans.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to deliver precise and high-quality work, ensuring each installation meets company standards.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, kneel, climb ladders, and work in varying physical conditions.
- Time Management: Strong ability to manage time and complete tasks within project deadlines.
- Communication Skills: Clear and professional communication with clients and team members.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
