Northeast Ohio
Hours
Flexible but generally appointment-based between M-F with occasional Saturday Hours.
Compensation
This is a commission-based sales position with compensation directly linked to performance and activity levels.
The position also comes with a company vehicle and standard benefits package
Role Summary
We are seeking a driven and goal-oriented individual to join our team as a Home Services Sales Representative. This role is critical in driving company revenue and maintaining our strong reputation with clients. You will engage with potential customers, provide estimates, and guide them through their home improvement projects. Your ability to build trust and communicate effectively will ensure that clients choose DM Roofing Siding and Windows as their contractor of choice.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Outreach
- Proactively knock on doors within assigned territories to introduce homeowners to our services, generating new leads in areas affected by storms or where we are actively working.
- Client Engagement & Appointments
- Conduct appointments, engaging with potential clients to understand their needs and provide solutions.
- Estimate Preparation & Follow-Up
- Prepare and submit estimates, ensuring thorough follow-up with clients to foster trust and credibility.
- Maintain Customer Satisfaction
- Proactively maintain a strong client relationship throughout the project life cycle, reinforcing the company’s reputation for excellence.
- Continuous Product Knowledge Improvement
- Pursue ongoing education in roofing and home improvement products by attending conferences, training, and industry events.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in sales, ideally within home services or a related field.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- A results-oriented attitude with a focus on achieving and exceeding goals.
- Strong organizational skills to manage appointments, data entry, and follow-ups consistently.
- Reliable transportation for local travel within assigned territories.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales-related software
- 3-5 Years of Outside Sales Experience
- 2-3 Years of Experience in Home Services, Contracting, or Home Building
