Role Summary
As an Interior Installer at DM, you’ll play a critical role in delivering high-quality bathroom, basement, and kitchen remodels. You’ll be responsible for precise installation of cabinetry, fixtures, trim, flooring, and other interior elements. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, pays attention to detail, and enjoys transforming spaces to exceed client expectations. You’ll collaborate closely with project managers and clients to bring designs to life, ensuring each project reflects our commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Install Interior Components:
Perform installation of cabinetry, trim, fixtures, flooring, and custom features in bathrooms, basements, and kitchens.
Precision and Craftsmanship:
Ensure all installations are accurate, aligned, and meet quality standards by interpreting design plans and measurements carefully.
Job Site Preparation and Clean-Up:
Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment throughout each project.
Client Interaction:
Communicate effectively with clients to address questions, concerns, and design specifications, ensuring satisfaction with the final result.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with project managers, designers, and other installers to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification.
Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols and company standards while operating tools and handling materials.
Qualifications & Skills
- Installation Experience:
- 3+ years of experience installing cabinetry, trim, fixtures, drywall, and/or flooring.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with hand and power tools and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and design plans.
- Attention to Detail:
- Ability to deliver precise and high-quality work, ensuring each installation meets company standards.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, kneel, climb ladders, and work in varying physical conditions.
- Time Management:
- Strong ability to manage time and complete tasks within project deadlines.
- Communication Skills:
- Clear and professional communication with clients and team members.
- Driver’s License:
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical Proficiency with a Smartphone
- Experience specifically in bathroom, basement, and kitchen remodeling projects.
- Knowledge of current trends and materials in interior remodeling.
- Certifications in carpentry or related trades.
- Experience working in a client-facing role with a focus on customer satisfaction.
